Dressage in the Dark
Dressage is one of a few Olympic equestrian disciplines. It consists of obedience work that is brought to the highest levels. In competition, it is quite simply poetry in motion and is often compared to the art of ballet. In 2011, the event emerges with a dramatic twist: Dressage in the Dark. Riders disappeared and horses lit up the ring with tantilizing movement. If you were lucky enough to witness this stellar performance, surely it left your eyes simply sparkling.
Dressage Quadrille
As the name suggests, Quadrille is a square dance for four horse and rider teams. In this unique performance, horses sway and step in sychronicity. Music sets the stage for an artful display of their discipline, aimed at impressing audiences and judges alike.
