Combine the finesse of dressage with the daring of cross-country and the technical skill of stadium jumping and you get an equestrian discipline like no other: EVENTING!
The cross-country phase requires the ability to gallop across rolling terrain and jump over solid obstacles that include water, hedges, ditches, banks and fences. It happens outdoors, rain or shine. But not at The Royal! We bring the excitement indoors with a special spin. Indoor Eventing combines the thrill and excitement of solid cross-country jumps with the accuracy required to make stadium turns in a confined environment. To add to the excitement, the fast-paced competition between riders is set to rocking music.
Now in it's sixth year, we welcomed back several of North America’s best, including Mark Todd, Jessica Phoenix, the individual Gold and her Silver team medalists, fresh from the Pan American Games, Guadalajara.
Waylon Roberts came up from third place to take the championship riding Evil Munchkin on Saturday Nov 5, followed closely by Michele Mueller on Amistad.
