Butter Sculpture Challenge

The annual At-Home Butter Sculpture Challenge is back!

The Royal At-Home Butter Sculpture Challenge presented by Gay Lea Returns! The Challenge returns for 2023  with the theme: ‘Share Joy’!
The virtual challenge is open to all Canadians from coast-to-coast-to-coast. Kids and adults are welcome to create a miniature butter sculpture from one pound of butter.

Once your sculpture is complete (and photo ready!) – snap a pic and share on Instagram using #ButterSculptureChallenge and tagging @theroyalfair to enter the contest. Additionally, feel free to email your masterpiece to digital@royalfair.org. There are two categories: one for kids 12 and under, and one for everyone else. Please be sure to detail which age category you are entering!

Entries close September 21st, 2023 at 11:59 EST, after which The Royal and a panel of esteemed experts (including our Royal Ambassador, Kay 😉) will select a group of finalists in each category, who will be announced on September 27th. From there, it’ll be up to Canadians to decide, voting online for their favourite. A winner will be crowned a Royal Champion in each category on October 11th and each will receive a prize package valued at $200CAD plus a family pass to The Fair in November.

Good luck!
