Camille Arcese – with a butchery demo by Paul Gentile and Nick Projkovski

For as long as she can remember, the only thing Camille Arcese wanted to do when she grew up was cook on TV. She grew up obsessed with cookbooks and cooking shows, and hung on the heels of whomever was in the kitchen whipping up deliciousness – but it took her a while to realize that dream, let alone imagine it were even possible. On her way, she had a 13-year modeling career in Toronto and abroad, tasted her way around the world, and earned a Master’s Degree in teaching.

While working for a hospitality company in Miami Beach a friend asked her to cater a party for over 60 people. Believing she had nothing to lose, Camille pulled it off and realized that night that it was time to take her love of food seriously. So, she went home to Toronto and was soon off to culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu Paris where she earned her Diplôme de Cuisine.

Today you can find Camille sharing her love of food, cooking, and living indulgently with style and simplicity on YouTube, Instagram (@camicooks), and on her website (www.camicooks.com). Camille is also the Chef & Entertaining Expert on CTV’s The Marilyn Denis Show, The Social, and host of Harlequin’s new web series Harlequin Books & Cooks.
