Careers In A Bottle
From horticulture and urban agriculture, to product development and processing, to microbiology, quality assurance and nutritional value, and, finally, marketing and service, there are dozens of career paths available to students excited by the prospect of working in agriculture and the broader food industry. In this interactive session, Durham College professors and staff will guide students through a number of stations representing the different stages of the food cycle. They do this from the perspective of all the careers that go into producing one common food item found in just about every home.
