Carl Heinrich is a Co-Owner of Richmond Station in downtown Toronto. A neighbourhood restaurant dedicated to delicious food and excellent hospitality.
Carl was the host of AMI’s Four Senses for four seasons, he was the winner of the Food Network’s Top Chef Canada Season 2, and the recipient of the 2015 Pinnacle Award for Canadian Chef of the Year.
Carl learned how to cook in his Mother’s kitchen on Vancouver Island before training at the Stratford Chef’s School, and with Chef Daniel Boulud in both New York City and Vancouver. His cuisine is inspired by quality local ingredients and driven by technique. He makes food that he knows his Mom would like to eat and keeps flavours pure. Avid gardener and home cook, Carl lives in Toronto with his wife Julia and two kids, Theodore and Jane.
