New this year is the Made By Me Artisan Pavilion, a space dedicated to local, Canadian vendors to display their unique, hand-crafted products. In this space you will find an array of wares, ranging from woodcrafts, glass and pottery, to clothing, decor, pet products and artwork. Don’t miss this brand new pavilion at this years’ Fair!

Every day the Burnbrae Farms Culinary Academy will feature notable chefs teaching their favourite recipes and highlighting amazing local ingredients. Space is limited so be sure to sign up today. $20 per session.
OLG Entertainment Stage
Check out live entertainment and special events on the OLG Entertainment Stage each day located in Heritage Court. See local artists display their talents, or sample some delicious cheeses, tarts and jams during Champions Day presented by Rootham Gourmet Preserves.
Your kids will love AG-tivity Central. Let them explore the playground or watch them learn to draw their favourite barnyard animals or catch a show with them at the Agri-tainment Stage. There’s so much fun to be had they won’t even realize they’re learning.

New for 2019, Spotlight on Local presented by Metro is a unique feature that celebrates the very best in local food being grown, produced and manufactured in Ontario. Come visit the Champions Showcase where many of our winning entries will be on display. Enjoy samples from some of our Royal Grand Champions every day. Also on hand, we have Metro Grocery Stores showcasing many of the successful participants in their Locally Sourced Program which fosters new businesses trying to break into the grocery market and helps them find success. On top of all that we have several regions from Ontario that have brought their local success stories to give us a taste of their region.
President’s Choice® Animal Theatre
Animals at work and play are the stars of the show. You will be inspired by the skills of both horses and riders in the Spirit of the Horse™, border collies herding sheep on command, the Medieval Times Knights, President’s Choice® SuperDogs®, the Toronto Police Service’s Mounted Unit and more.
The Presentation Theatre is a unique venue at The Royal that offers comfortable, theatre-style seating just off the show floor. Stay tuned for more information regarding screenings and seminars in this space.
Feature Performances & Activities
RCMP Musical Ride
November 1-3, 2019 (Select Events)
An iconic symbol of Canada, the Musical Ride features 32 horses and riders that will provide visitors to the Royal an opportunity to experience the heritage and traditions of the RCMP.
Their performance consists of intricate figures and drills choreographed to music. These movements demand the utmost skill and control and showcase the unique bond between horse and rider.
The Musical Ride acts as an ambassador of goodwill and promotes the RCMP’s image throughout Canada and all over the world and The Royal is extremely proud to host the Ride in 2019.
See the Ride during paid Royal Horse Show performances on the 1st, 2nd (matinee & evening) and 3rd of November, 2019.
Ontario Toyota Dealers Rodeo
Nov. 10, 2019 at 1pm
Ontario Toyota Dealers Rodeo brings together the best bull, saddle bronco and bareback riders as well as barrel racers from across the country.
The Royal K9-Equine Relay
Nov. 9, 2019 at 1pm
This is a partnership of an International Rider/horse paired with a PC® SuperDog®. Each member of the team goes around their respective course – horses over horse jumps and dogs around dog obstacles. The fastest combined time wins. It’s a fast and fun event for the whole family.

Internationally acclaimed Sylvia Zerbini will demonstrate amazing communication and partnerships with her magnificent horses in her mesmerizing Grande Liberté presentation during Royal Horse Show paid performances November 5 – 9, 2019.
Witness her herd of Stallions and Geldings working together to create the quintessential Equestrian Ballet experience. Sylvia and her horses provide the ultimate in equestrian performing art entertainment and can be celebrated and enjoyed by friends and family alike.

Final Sunday (November 10)
The Final Sunday is filled with fiddle music as sets of 8 take the stage to compete in the Square Dancing competition. With entries both young and old this traditional dance gets its time in the spotlight each year at The Royal.
Butter Sculpting open to students enrolled in art programs. An unusual and slippery medium but the artists always manage to evoke the farm fresh fun atmosphere of The Royal each year.
