Creator of two people and the culinary company JustBe Cooking, Chef Mari Rozyn understands how to make cooking engaging.
With 20 years experience in the Education & Training Industry, including Leadership Roles in both the academic and culinary sectors, Mari started Just Be Cooking in 2017 with one goal in mind: to bring people together through food, music and conversation.
Growing up in a multi-cultural family (her dad being Polish and mum Ukrainian), both heritages had a vibrate history of fantastic food, memorable music and candid conversations. Mari grew up embracing all of it, and she was hooked. The power that food and music had in bringing people together was visible, and she yearned for others to share those moments with each other.
Mari has also dedicated much of her time to some of Toronto’s best community musical theatre groups and choirs. She loves to hang out with her kids and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.
