Rachel Adjei is the chef and owner behind The Abibiman Project, a celebration of the diverse and unique flavours of the African continent. Her background is in various East and South East Asian cuisines, Southern French cuisine and French pastry. Seeking to better connect with her cultural identity, she started making unique regional African dishes and has been sharing her love for food from the motherland over the past 3 years. She’s extremely passionate about getting people excited about the stories food tells off of the plate and the significance of identity, culture and society all intertwined in the food that makes us who we are.
