Tech-Enabled Sustainable Agriculture

The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is inviting tech innovators from across Canada to present transformative solutions that help reduce inputs, increase impact, and future-proof agriculture. Enter The Royal Sustainability Awards for a chance to showcase your work and win one of three cash prizes:

  • 1st Prize wins $2000
  • 2nd and 3rd prize wins $500 each


How to submit:
Submit a short video presentation (maximum 4 minutes), Slides or PowerPoint detailing your innovative business model or tech-based solution supporting sustainability in agriculture.

Why is this important?

The future of food depends on smarter, more sustainable systems. As agriculture faces mounting challenges, from climate change to water and labour shortages, technology offers powerful tools to reduce waste, preserve resources, and increase resilience. This award recognizes the innovators who are building those tools and transforming the agri-food system.
 
This year, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair is proud to spotlight an innovator, entrepreneur or enterprise working to lead Canada’s transition to sustainable agriculture through technology. Come witness the top finalists present their ideas live at the Fair.

Judging Criteria:
Each submission will be evaluated based on:
Innovation (40%) | Impact (30%) | Feasibility (20%) | Presentation (10%)
