Move In - Barn: Tuesday October 31, 2023. Cattle must be in place before Thursday November 2, 2023, at 8:00 AM

Move in - Tie-Outs: Tie outs will not be available until Monday October 30, 2023, after 8:00 AM.

Weigh in: Thursday November 2, 2023 from 1:30pm to 5:00pm

Move out: Sunday November 5, 2023, following conclusion of Supreme Show.

  • Tear down of stalls cannot start until after the Supreme Show in finished and trailers will not be allowed to move until all cattle have walked to tie outs. Tie out walk time TBA.
  • No cattle will be allowed back in the barn on Monday November 6. Cattle can remain in tie outs until 12:00 PM (noon) on Monday.
  • Pack must be gone from the barn by Monday November 6 at 7:00 AM.

      EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE:

      1. All Ontario Exhibitors must be members of the Ontario Angus Association.
      2. All entries MUST be registered with the Canadian or American Angus Association.
      3. Registration papers MUST be present at the time of processing. C.M. numbers, 'pending', or 'applied for' will not qualify for the Angus Show. All animals must be legibly tattooed.
      4. Any Angus shown at The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair (RAWF) is subjected to parentage tests. Test to be supervised by the Ontario Angus Association.
      5. Exhibitor Attire - A black show vest must be worn, over a plain white shirt. Exhibitors failing to comply with this rule will not be allowed in the ring.
      6. The Canadian Angus Association has passed a resolution "that paint products be banned from Canadian Angus sponsored shows." The RAWF has also banned all aerosol cans from the marshalling area, as per rule #2 of the General Beef Rules and Regulations. The Ontario Angus Association is enforcing this ban. By entering your animals, you are agreeing to abide by these rules and failure to comply will result in disqualification.
      7. All entries born subsequent to 2011 are required to be tagged with Green Angus RFID tags in order to be shown.

      Premier Exhibitor Award

      An award is presented to the exhibitor with the most points for animals owned and shown by the exhibitor based on their highest (6) placings in the individual classes. All animals accumulating points for this award must be the entries of one exhibitor. In the case of joint-ownership, the exhibitor must be specified, otherwise the joint owners will be considered as one exhibitor / entry.

      Premier Breeder Award

      An award is presented to the individual company (as recorded on the Certificate of Registration) whose animals accumulate the highest total points based on their highest (6) placings in the individual classes. To be eligible for the Premier Breeder Award, the breeder must exhibit at the show. Qualification for this award is based on Canadian rules that specify all owners at the time of conception are the breeders of the animals.

      Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society Challenge Trophy (Perpetual)

      Presented to the Supreme Champion of the show by the Aberdeen Angus Cattle Society of Scotland. The Grand Champion Bull and Grand Champion Female will be eligible to compete.

      MASTERFEEDS SUPREME BEEF CHAMPIONSHIP

      The Masterfeeds Supreme Beef Championship class will invite the Grand Champion Bull and Female from each of The Royal's seven breed shows, the National Junior Beef Heifer Show back into the ring along with the supreme champions from premier regional beef shows in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes to be judged for overall Supreme Bull and Female. Three North American officials have been invited to decide who will take home the prize and title of Masterfeeds Supreme Bull and Supreme Female.
