    Rules and Regulations

    1. Females being shown in the yearling heifer classes that were born prior to May 1 of the previous year are required to have certification of pregnancy prepared by a licensed veterinarian on or before October 1, 2025. Certificate must be presented at time of processing or animal will be disqualified from competition and removed from the show barn.
    2. Current year heifer and bull calves from cow/calf units may be shown seperate from their dams in thier respective classes for calendar year calves. However, if a cow/calf unit includes a heifer calf and the pair places Senior Champion or Reserve Senior Champions, the calf cannot be shown in the class for calender year calves and must be shown with the dam in the Grand Champion class.
    3. Classes will be split if the entires exceed eight (8) animals. The classes will be split equally.
    4. All Speckle Park entered in this show must be completely registered with the Canadian Speckle Park Association before the show as purebred, appendix, or a minimum of 93.8% or higher. Solid black animals which meet these requirements are eligible to be entered.
    5. All Speckle Park shown in this CSPA sanctioned show must have a DNA certificate file number recorded on thier registration certificate or be accompanied by a seperate DNA certificate.
    6. The use of any PAINT product (white or black) is not allowed at the Canadian Speckle Park Show. This rule will be strictly enforced and any animal in violation will be excused from the show. There will not be any aerosols allowed in the marshalling area.
    7. Exhibitors must wear a show harness clearly displaying thier show number, both front and back, while showing. Exhibitors wearing show numbers on thier hip or elsewhere will be denied entry into the show ring.
    8. Exhibitors must wear a CSPA sanctioned black show vest and white long-sleeved shirt underneath. Exhibitors failing to meet attire requirements will be denied entry to the show ring.

    Premier Exhibitor Award

    An award is presented to the exhibitor with the most points for animals owned and shown by the exhibitor based on thier highest (6) placings in the individual classes. All animals accumulating points for this award must be the entries of one exhibitor. In the case of joint-ownership, the exhibitor must be specified, otherwise the joint owners will be considered as one exhibitor / entry.

    Premier Breeder Award

    An award is presented to the individual company (as recorded on the Certificate of Registration) whose animals accumulate the highest total points based on thier highest (6) placings in the individual classes. To be eligible for the Premier Breeder Award, the breeder must exhibit at the show. Qualification for this award is based on Canadian rules that specify all owners at the time of conception are the breeders of the animals.

    MASTERFEEDS SUPREME BEEF CHAMPIONSHIP

    The Masterfeeds Supreme Beef Championship class will invite the Grand Champion Bull and Female from each of The Royal's seven breed shows, the National Junior Beef Heifer Show back into the ring along with the supreme champions from premier regional beef shows in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes to be judged for overall Supreme Bull and Female. Three North American officials have been invited to decide who will take home the prize and title of Masterfeeds Supreme Bull and Supreme Female.

    The Masterfeeds Beef Champions will be invited to participate in The Agribition Beef Supreme presented by CN.

    The Agribition Beef Supreme, presented by CN, will host the best of the best. On November 23 - 28, 2026 invited Supreme and Grand Champions from major livestock shows across North America join Agribition’s Grand Champion Bulls and Females to compete together in the Agribition Beef Supreme with a chance at the Supreme Champion title.
