The Country Music Culinary Festival

New for 2018, The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair has partnered with Boots and Hearts Presents to launch The Country Music Culinary Festival.

The main feature of the Festival is the first stop on the Tim Hicks “Get Loud” tour presented by Boots and Hearts which takes place Thursday evening at the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto. Canadian country music icon and Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase alum, Tim Hicks, will be joined by The Washboard UnionTebey and Madeline Merlo. The concert will feature a pre-show reception highlighting Chef Matt Basile of Fidel Gastro’s. The following night, on Friday, The Royal will feature the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase, which highlights new Canadian country artists. In addition, Horse Show attendees will be treated to a short set from some incredible Boots and Hearts talent. Stay tuned for more details on the culinary portion of the program, but you’ll have a chance to take a cooking lesson from a notable chef at the Burnbrae Farms Culinary Academy, another new feature attraction this year.

Tickets are just $65. All ages.

Tim Hicks has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 from every ticket will go to Unison Fund and their work providing counselling and emergency relief services to the Canadian music community.

My 13 year old daughter and I visited The Royal Fair for the first time and we had a blast. From the best in class cattle, the goats, pigs and sheep to the grand finally for us which was the Weston Canadian Open. The day was fantastic. Would I recommend The Royal? ABSOLUTELY!!!
